Two worlds are about to collide. Let THE REAL games begin!

Power Surd: The First Siege of Mainframe

A power surge in Questworld creates a rift in time and space with consequences the young Jonny Quest never fathomed when the maniacal Dr. Jeremiah Surd hacks in. Within this vortex is a place called Mainframe, a cybernetic world inhabited by lifeforms called sprites and protected by a guardian program simply named Bob.

When Surd sees the opportunity to take over by declaring himself to be the User he places Bob in Questworld to be destroyed. Jonny and Jessie Bannon must venture into Questworld to save him and his home from the scheming Surd and the viral duo of Megabyte and Hexadecimal.

But can enough trust be won between user and sprite to save the system in time?

This is a story crossover for fans of ReBoot and The Real Adventures of Jonny Quest!

A note from the author:

Some time ago, maybe about a year or more, I had an idea for a story of two young teenage users coming to Mainframe via a bizarre computer driven molecular accident. The teens, a boy and a girl would be able to do things to Mainframe just by their will because they were users. I totally abandoned the concept because I felt I lacked the story telling skills to come up with a believable plot line. Since that point "Reboot" moved into syndication and a newer toon version of "Jonny Quest" came to. I really have many dislikes for "JQ". Too much "X-Files" light stuff. The original series is sstilltill the best. However, one thing kept me watching, Questworld, the VR computer system that brought about a new bad guy Dr. Jeremiah Surd. One morning when getting up to watch "Reboot" it just hit me. Bob's looking for the User. What if the User came to him? Jeremiah Surd! Surd in Mainframe! Bob in Questworld! Jonny! Jessie! The two teenage users to visit Mainframe! This story has been more difficult to complete then doing a straight Reboot story. I had to stop for several months because I lacked a good scientific explanation for the plot. I still find the plot shaky but believable enough for a cartoon style story. Although it is the character, Dr. Jeremiah Surd, that is responsible for this stories origin I've been spurred on by other things. Michael Benyaer did the voice of Hadji for the first half of "JQ's" first season.  On top of this Hadji has said the lines "This iCs very, very bad"and "This is not good," several times in a couple of episodes a variation on Bob's quote "This is bad. This is very bad" and "Not good! This is not good."I guess Michael had the habit of having his characters talk the same.

Other little bits of similar things:
Zipboards vs. Hooverboards
IRIS in Questworld/ The operations computer of Mainframe- The computer persona of both places is female.

Green eyed monsters?- Megabyte has eyes with red irises and green whites. Surds eyes in 3D
are blue however when animated in Questworld in 2D his eyes are glowing green!˘

Medusa- Hex had the Medusa bug. Surd has a VR version of Medusa in his arsenal. Don't look
him in the eyes! Surd is a bit random. So is Hex. Hex actually thinks Surd is handsome! Yuck!
I've divided it into parts with a prologue for each section created from notes for another story I
abandoned finishing. The subtitle "The First Siege of Mainframe", comes out of the fact that the
main plot takes place between the stories "Gigabyte" and "Trust No One" (originally it was to take place between "Painted Windows" and "Nullzilla" but I wanted to put Mouse in this story).
This is the first major takeover of Mainframe that pushes Megabyte to his dirty deed in "Web
World Wars."

This is a work in progress so be patient! I can only type eight words a minute!p
This story is dedicated to my nephew Kenny, a big fan of both shows.

*Any similarities between this story and any plot line from Season 3 of ReBoot or any other ReBoot or Jonny Quest Fanfic stories is purely coincidental! No attempt was purposely made to steal anyone's ideas despite similarities to plot points I already discovered relating to Season 3 of ReBoot.

Prologue/Part 1 - Surdification

"What you are experiencing is a temporary distortion of reality."
Phong/ episode - "Identity Crisis"

I came from the Net. Through systems, peoples and cities to this place... Questworld!
My format...Guardian. To mend and defend. To protect my new found friends in a place where they can create their hopes and dreams. And to protect them from their VR enemies.
I don't understand the world outside that the users come from, but since I'm trapped here, I intend to find out!
Reboot!

 Questworld

Their world now was filled with destruction.

Jonny and Jessie stood within the Project Rachel file. What remained of the time travel program lay about as scrambled fragments and burnt out file space. They had used it to save the real world from being obliterated. They went back in time and stopped Ezekiel Rage from blowing up the Earth with a nuclear bomb placed miles under the planet's crust. The price for saving humanity was the loss of most of Questworld. The Virtual Reality computer only had minimal systems function. They managed to go some scrapping together of spare parts to restart the computer and see the damage in VR form.

"Hadji. There is no way to describe this," Jonny informed him.

"I can see mostly static on my monitor so describing it is the only way," his friend replied.

Hadji had powered up the program using his laptop to interface with the main computer bank. Since the laptops were more advanced then standard ones to operate Questworld programs, the small machine did a passable job of getting the® damaged Questworld files open.

"You should not have gone back in," Hadji added."Fifty percent of the Questworld database is either destroyed or lost. We will need to restore most of the system from backup. IRIS is not responding. And the rerouting I did just to get you inside will most likely blow a circuit breaker any moment."

Jessie turned to Jonny. "The program is gone. There might be no way to make it work again."

Jonny sighed. The blonde haired, blued eyed son of Dr. Benton Quest understood the importance of the Rachel Program beyond his personal needs but he could not hide his disappointment. He had wanted to use the time travel device for a personal matter his father created it for, to see his mother Rachel again.

"I wanted to see my mom Jessie. I feel as I get older I'm going to lose whatever memories I have left of her."

"Your dad knew how dangerous project Rachel was. That's why he sealed it to be used for a worse case scenario only. We did what we had to do."

"Jonny," Hadji reminded them. "Dr. Quest will be arriving any moment. I don't think he should find you two in there."

"Right," Jonny agreed. "Log us back out."

Jonny looked at Jessie. The girl squinted her aqua eyes. She had an odd look on her face as if someone had stuck her with a needle. She shook her head a moment, tossing her long auburn hair from side to side, trying to clear her head.

 "Jessie? Are you okay?"

Mainframe

Their home was now fun of destruction. The Web spores and probes now flew in by the dozens quickly overwhelming and outnumbering the CPU defenses.

Bob yelled into Glitch's vid hookup. "Megabyte! What are you waiting for?!"

The image of the blue metallic virus on the display looked passively concerned and sightly annoyed by Bob. "I thought your forces were coping admirably but if you wish…"

Megabyte turned away and opened a vidwindow to address one of his virals who somehow managed to be napping in the middle of the crisis. He woke when Megabyte spoke.

"Commander! I want everything in the air supporting the CPUs!"

"Supporting the CPUs? Uh... yes Sir!"

Bob didn't like the hesitance in the viral binome's statement.

"Don't make a deal with the devil…"

He had to ignore it. A spore came charging at him. Using Glitch's wide field energy beam he blew it to pixels.

Questworld

 "Jessie? What is it?"

"I just got the funniest image in my head. A giant looking parasite of some kind. Maybe we'd better log out."

"I'm pulling you out now," announced Hadji.

Jonny and Jessie disappeared from the file room. In the far corner a tear had been forming.   Blood red in color, it quickly began to expand.

Mainframe

Mouse worked frantically at the controls of the Hardware. She brushed the lose lock of electric orange hair from her eyes. The weapon needed the proper codes to close the massive Web portal that filled Mainframe's sky. Dot had told Megabyte only moments before that they wouldn't be able to hold off the Web's attack squadron much longer.

"Mouse!" Megabyte hissed knowing Dot's assessment to be correct.

"I'm working as fast as I can," she told him," Just make sure the witch is ready!"

Hexadecimal, Megabyte's sister and the power source for the weapon turned towards Mouse.

"I heard that!" she snarled, her white mask face showing the expression of anger. It quickly shifted to an expression of pleasure. "What a sweet thing to say!"

Hex turned back to her station and began charging the cannon.

The Real World

Bandit sniffed around the three VR chairs in the lighthouse. Exposed cut and reconnected wires were hanging out of every conduit, panel and monitor in the computer room. The dog eyed the thick cables, suspicious of what his humans were doing.

Jonny picked up the white bulldog off the floor.

"Don't get too nosy Bandit," Jonny warned. "Bite one of those wires and it might bite you back."
Race Bannon let out a long low whistle. "Fur on a catfish! This place looks like it got run over by a heard of stampeding Surds!"

"It will take weeks to get the main computer up and running," Dr. Quest admitted sadly. "I'll have to itemize a list of components and programs we'll need right away."

Hadji gestured to his laptop. "Part of the system is still operating Dr. Quest. However, most of the software and files are fragmented or destroyed. We will need to replace them. IRIS is operating on her minimal start up mode. I have gotten some typed responses from her."

"Let me talk to her," Dr. Quest sat in front of the laptop and started to type.

Race looked at his daughter. "You all right, Ponchita?"

"I guess so. The whole thing with Rage gave me jaggies I guess."

"Jaggies?"

"Rattled," she corrected. "I saw something weird in there. Something that looked like a cross between a microscopic parasite and a mutant dust mite."

Jonny shrugged."I didn't see anything in there Jessie. It had to be your imagination."

"It looked too real," Jessie gave Jonny a look as she added, "like it came from another world."

Jonny understood. "Maybe we should get some air to clear our heads and talk about it."

Just as they were going to leave they heard Dr. Quest say. "Uh oh."

The others gathered around Dr. Quest. A list of critical damage to the system had an unusual top priority:

VR WORMHOLE IN PROJECT RACHEL FILE. ADVISE CLOSING IMMEDIATELY.

"VR Wormhole? What is that?" asked Race.

"Something we thought we wouldn't encounter again," Hadji confessed.

"This isn't the first time?" Dr. Quest responded.

"No Dr. Quest. And it explains what must have caused it the first time. The Rachel program must have overloaded when that power surge took place several weeks ago."

"And when were you planning on telling me about this?"

Jonny spoke. "We had to keep it a secret dad. We sort of met somebody. It's a long story."

"You can start explaining while I try to get IRIS to give me a visual."

The laptop produced a static lined picture of the torn up Rachel file. A red, swirling mass of energy that contained a kaleidoscope of light within it, had opened up on one side of the ravaged file.

"That's not like the last one," Jonny began. "It was electric blue and we found it inside the game grid."

"I've seen that," Jessie said.

"Since when?"

"Since I saw that giant parasite monster in the Rachel program! Jonny it's not a VR dream or illusion! It's the interface!"

Then they heard it. A strong shrieking noise came echoing from within the wormhole out into the damaged file.

"I don't like this," Dr. Quest said. "We have to shut this thing down!"

Mainframe

Bob stationed himself on the Hardware's operation's platform next to Dot. Dot's fatigues were soiled from the battle, her green face marred by dirt. He told her. "We have to do this now! What's taking so long?"

Mouse's keyboard beeped. "That's it! I've broken their code!"

Hexadecimal exclaimed. "The Hardware is fully charged!"

Bob sighed in relief before shouting. "All right everyone! Get ready! We're going to shut the portal!"

Bob heard a sound of metal cutting metal as Megabyte used his claws to slice Dot's shoulder cannon in two. She let out a small yelp as Megabyte turned towards Bob.

"Not just yet Guardian!" Megabyte snarled.

Bob faced Megabyte. "GLITCH!-"

Megabyte clamped his hand over Bob's mouth to stop his speech command to his keytool with a grip too strong for Bob to break. Megabyte removed Glitch from Bob's armband and crushed it before Bob's eyes.

"Don't make a deal…"

"Now!" Megabyte ordered.

He threw Bob into a small ejection pod built into the Hardware's platform. Its door slid shut, trapping Bob inside.

Bob screamed. "MEGABYTE!!! YOU WON'T GET AWAY WITH THIS!!!"

"No time to talk now Bob, " Megabyte replied. "Launch!"

"...with the devil…"

Bob pushed against the pod, trying to tip it over as Mouse intervened. She threw Herr Docktor to one side as she raised her katana sword to threaten the virus as he came at the controls, clawed hands raised. She never saw Hexadecimal appear behind her. The Viral Queen slapped Mouse's sword from her grasp and then knocked her away, allowing Megabyte access to the control panel.

"...He'll only send…"

Megabyte paused long enough to give Bob one last look, a glare of cold anger he had stored too long for this moment. Bob's eye's widened in fear.

"...you to hell."

Megabyte pressed the button. The pod rumbled.
As it lifted off towards the portal, Bob screamed. "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

Questworld

Race and Dr. Quest materialized inside the Project Rachel file. The vortex now took up a large section of file space.

"Hadji input the equipment," Dr. Quest said.

A tripod mounted bazooka cannon and three sonic detonators appeared at their feet.

"Are you certain this will work?"

"Positive Dr. Quest," Hadji reassured him. "The first wormhole collapsed when hit by sonic disruption the same way it can destroy VR images."

"Since it appears to be forming out of our technology your guess had logic."

Race adjusted the weapons position. "I don't understand any of this Doc. How do you get a VR Wormhole out of Project Rachel?"

"Rachel is a time travel device. It uses accelerated light particles converting them to tachyon to create the portals. Wormholes are rips in time and space. A stable one might lead to anywhere in the universe. This one and the one Jonny and Jessie encountered must open to a realm parallel to our own computer world but different, full of entirely other lifeforms. Like another dimension."

Race shook his head both out of disbelief and confusion. "Will blowing this up destroy the rest of Rachel?"

"Maybe."

"And what if we need the program again?"

"We'll just hope that never happens."

Another sound echoed out of the vortex.

"If there are monsters in that thing the sooner its closed the better."

Dr. Quest hesitated. "That sounded like a human scream."

"Nothing in there is human Doc. Let's blow it!"

"Dad! Wait!"

"Jessie?"

"Don't do it! That was a scream!"

"Jessie! We can't keep this thing open! We don't know-"

A Web probe came through the VR wormhole. Swimming through the air like a backwards squid with only four tentacles and no eyes, the creature paused to examine its new surroundings, confused by where it had ended up.

"What is that?" Race said.

"Incredible!" exclaimed Dr. Quest. "An entirely different form of life! Jessie! Is this what you saw?"

"No!" the girl answered. "It had to be at least four times larger!"

"It doesn't look friendly Doc!" Race warned.

Another on came out, then a group of three carrying something between them in their tentacles. They where tearing at a cylinder shaped container, trying to extract something inside. A scream of terror came from under the mass of limbs pulling at the pod.

"My God! They're attacking someone!"

"Dad! Do something!" Jessie screamed.

Race raised his hand. "Laser gatling gun!"

The weapon appeared over his arm. He aimed and fired at one of the Web probes. Race hardly expected the creature to explode from being hit by one energy bolt. But the creature vaporized on the first hit making the other four scatter in panic. They dropped the pod to the file floor. It broke open, glass and metal crunching on impact. Race continued to fire on the other probes destroying all of them as !Dr. Quest ran to the pod to look inside. He then reached in and began to pull someone out through the broken pane of glass.

The Real World

Jonny and Jessie leaned closer to look at the laptop monitor over Hadji's shoulders. All of them gasped at the same time as they uttered in unison.

"BOB!"

 Questworld

Dr. Quest lifted Bob from the wrecked pod both fascinated and concerned by what he saw. Blue skin. At first Dr. Quest thought a change in atmosphere caused the lifeform's skin to change color. But this life form also had silver chrome hair, or was it silicon?

Bob coughed and gasped finding it hard to get his breath. Dr. Quest leaned him against the shattered pod.

"Are you all right son?"

Bob continued to cough. He knew what he was staring at. Only a user had a face so pale. But this user had a vaguely familiar face. He had reddish hair and a beard with whitened sideburns. His eyes were dark yet shaped in a way he had seen before.

"Who are you?" he choked out.

"Dr. Benton Quest. I'm a-"

"Quest?!"

"Yes."

Race came up next to Dr. Quest. "I got all of them. What so we do now about the wormhole?"

"Wormhole?" Bob wheezed looking at the second user.

This one had a head of white hair and blue eyes that reminded him of someone else.

Bob turned his head towards the vortex. "Close that!"

"Isn't that where you come from?"

"It's the Web! Close it! They'll send attack drones!" he gasped.

Jonny called down. "Do as he says dad!"

Bob looked up. "Jonny?!"

Race slammed a sonic detonator into the bazooka. He heard another bizarre growling noise come from the vortex. He pressed the trigger as something began to emerge. The detonator flew into the wormhole as the Web spore flew out. The nightmarish creature had four enormous ivory tusk colored horns. A fifth one formed between its eyes. It sped through the air by rotating a long whip shaped tail as a propeller.

The detonator exploded within the wormhole. The collapse began. Dr. Quest took one of the other detonators and pressed the activation button.

"Hadji! I've set the other bombs to blow! We need an escape route!" Dr. Quest shouted.

"I'm on it! Get ready!"

A circular VR door appeared with engraved an Q emblem etched into its surface. It slid open. Quest helped get Bob to stand. The Web spore noticed the group.

"Move Doc!" Race reengaged the gatling gun as the Web spore spun around.

Race fired on it. The creature swerved away from the weapon fire. Roaring in anger it dove down at them.

"DAD!" Jessie screamed.

Race pushed Dr. Quest and Bob through the doorway. The Web spore reached it as it began to slide shut. The creature managed to trust one of its horns through the opening, jamming it open. The monster screamed as it fought to get at the three lifeforms in the VR tunnel.

Race was livid. "When it rains, it pours!"

"We've got to ¬get to the opposite end of this tunnel! Fast!" Dr. Quest said.

Bob, his senses becoming clearer to where he was murmured. "Hooverboards."

Dr. Quest heard him. "What did you say?"

"Hooverboards!" Bob yelled.

Three hooverboards formed in the tunnel. Bob hopped onto one of them. He double tapped his icon. His guardian uniform reformatted, changing to a midnight blue VR Questworld suit trimmed in orange.

"Let's move!" he ordered.

Dr. Quest and Race mounted the boards and sped after Bob, leaving the enraged Web spore literally at death's door for a moment later the remaining sonic detonators blew up.

Race and Dr. Quest followed Bob up the tunnel.

Race commented. "This guy drives that thing like Jonny!"

"Considering what's coming up behind us, there is no other way to do it!" Dr. Quest answered.

Race look over his shoulder. Sonic waves from the explosion were flooding the tunnel after them.

"Hadji!" called Bob. "What's our ETA?"

"Your right there!" the young man answered.

Bob exited the tunnel, entering a large VR file room. He turned to see Dr. Quest emerge. Race exited in a less graceful manor, clipping the bottom of the file door and landing on the floor.

"Shut it Hadji!" Bob screamed.

The door slid shut and disappeared.

Race sat up stating. "I hate driving those things."
Bob dismounted his board and came over to Race. He reached down to help him up. "You must be Race."

Race let Bob catch hold of his hand and pull him up. "You have me at a disadvantage. I know we've never met."

"Your daughter told me," Bob explained. He turned to Dr. Quest. "And your Dr. Benton Quest. Jonny's father."

"It would seem our children have been keeping secrets from us," Dr.Quest said in annoyance. "Jonny? Jessie?"

"Uh dad?" Jonny answered, "This is Bob. Guardian Bob. He's a sprite from another world."

"You live in that place you came out of with those flying nightmares?" Race asked doubtfully.

"No. I come from the Net. That was the Web." Bob's expression saddened. He rubbed hi“s left forearm, wishing he'd find Glitch there.

"How did you end up in there?" asked Dr. Quest.

"I made a deal with the devil. And he sent me to hell..."

Mainframe

In the Principle Office war room they were celebrating. The portal to the Web had been shut. All that remained was to mop up the spores trapped in Mainframe. Then a message came to end it.
"Mayday! Mayday! We are under attack! Repeat! The ABCs are attacking us!"

Megabyte's forces had turned on the CPUs, now outnumbered.

"Bob! Bob come in!"

"He can't hear you Phong."

Phong, Enzo and AndrAIa turned to see Dot and Mouse. The two sprites had barely escaped from Megabyte and Hexadecimal.

"Dot! Mouse!" Phong exclaimed. "Where is Bob?! What has happened?!"

The look on Dot's face said it more then her words. "It's bad Phong. Very bad."

Silence. Deafening silence.

Dot bent over to look into her brother's eyes. "I'm sorry."

She took Enzo's hand in hers and placed the crushed Glitch in his palm.

Enzo held it up in front of him, turning it in his hand in disbelief.

"Don't make a deal with the devil…."

"No," He whispered.

"He'll only send you to hell."

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Enzo screamed.

The Real World

"No!" Jonny slammed his fist down. "I can't believe this happened!"

Jessie sat on the edge of one of the VR chairs, her hands clasped in her lap. Her father knelt next to her. She was trying not to cry.

"Megabyte will destroy them," she weeped. "Or make them viral and wish they were dead."

"No Jessie! They will fight Megajerk to the end. And make him pay if they can!"

"If only we could do something!"

"They only thing we can do is help Bob go on," Dr. Quest suggested. "If is one thing I have learned is to try to find sense in tragedy."

Hadji sat at one of the computer terminals studying Bob very closely. "It is obvious that if an attempt is not made he will self degrade and cease to exist."

Race said. "In other words he thinks therefore he is. He stops he self destructs."

"We can't let him do that!" Jonny insisted. "He's a fighter. He doesn't quit file so easy!"

 "Quit file?" repeated Race.

"Mainframe slang," Jessie explained. "They have cliches similar to ours only computer related."

"Could he be become dangerous?" Race asked Dr. Quest.

"No way!" Jessie insisted. "Bob is our friend! He'll always be our friend!"

"Jess I don't want to say those things because I want to. But Bob is capable of becoming unstable if he stays trapped here."

"Then its up to us to give him reasons to keep functioning," Jonny said. "Let us talk to him. Inside Questworld."

Dr. Quest thought about it. "You two are the closest to him outside of his own world."

"I think they're the best chance we have to reach him," Hadji added.

"You up to this Ponchita?" Race asked

 "I've got to dad."

"Let's go already," Jonny said impatiently as he sat down in one of the three VR chairs.

Jessie sat back, fixing the VR goggle generator over her ear.

"Ready to go hot," announced Jonny.

Hadji put them in. "Questworld log on. Subjects, Jonny Quest and Jessie Bannon. Countdown! Five! Four! Three! Two! One!"

 Questworld

Bob couldn't recall the last time he sat on the floor with his legs to his chest, his arms crossed  over his knees trying to keep composed. He felt very much like a lost child sprite, wanting someone to take him home.

A home he'd never see again.

 His own words haunted him.

"Phong! We've been through all this. We need their help to save Mainframe."

"Just make sure she stays online Megabyte. After all, she is your sister. Your live up to your part  of the bargain and we'll do our part."

"Okay let's do it! Guardian Matrix?"

 "Yes sir!"

"Okay! This is it! If anything should happen to me I'm charging you with the defense of this system…"

How basic of him! He never should have let Megabyte near him. A virus could not be trusted! The Vert to the Web had closed. He was safe from the monsters inside it, but bÉy trapping him  here in Questworld, Mainframe now was at Megabyte's mercy. He failed everyone he cared about, leaving them in a worse situation then before.

"Don't make a deal with the devil. He'll only send you to hell."

Bob sensed someone else in the file room.

 "Bob!"
He looked over his shoulder. He saw Jonny and Jessie standing behind him. For a few moments his grief evaporated in the smiles of the two youngsters.

"Jonny! Jessie!" Bob said as he got up.

Jessie rushed to him and hugged him tight. Bob felt overwhelmed by the girl's affection for him.
When she finally let go he asked her. "Miss me little girl?"

"Everyday since the first wormhole closed. I got so scared when I saw those things trying to hurt you."

Race commented. "So that explains the sad look in her eyes for the past few weeks. You shouldn't have kept this a secret Jess."

"And what about you JQ?" Bob aásked ruffling Jonny's blonde hair.

"Hey quit file that! You know I hate it Big Blue!"

Bob made a face. "In speaking of things I hated. Dr. Quest, tell your son I need a better nickname!"

"What? I thought you started to like it."

"I lied. Like how you two lied to your fathers."

"We didn't exactly lie. We just didn't tell them."

"Logic error," Jessie confessed with a smile before saying. "Bob. We're sorry about Mainframe."

Bob sighed. "Jonny warned me. So did Mouse. And Phong. I made the big logic error."

"Those Web things looked like the worst of two evils Bob. You did what you thought was right."

"And now Mainframe pays for it and my friends." Sorrow overwrote Bob's face. "And I gave Enzo a field commission to be guardian.  And I told him if anything happened to me to take charge of the system! How basic could I get! He's just a kid!"

"He's hardly alone Bob, "Jonny reminded him . "He and ?AndrAIa are like attached files."

"A pair of kids are going to fight against a bully trying to take over their system?" Bob responded in doubt.

Jonny and Jessie grinned.

"Remind you of anybody?" Jonny asked gesturing to himself and Jessie.

Bob understood and smiled. "You know? They might give Megabyte a hard time after all."

"I hate to interrupt," Dr. Quest cut in, "but we are owed an explanation."

"Dr. Quest. Race. Your kids are responsible for saving my life and helping me rid Mainframe from Dr. Jeremiah Surd."

"I had a feeling you would mention him. When did this happen?"

Jonny began. "Right after our system crashed from that massive power surge. You and Race were on your way to Cybertech to get replacement boards while we were trying to salvage files. Surd broke into the main grid and ended up discovering Bob..."
It's been found and I can convert it. Give me time and I'll post the entire thing.

If you don't know with Reboot or The Real Adventures of Jonny Quest they are both available of Watch Cartoons online.

Wow. Now I want to watch JQ! See you later. :)
